Geoscience Australia is acquiring and distributing data under a public good arrangement with JAXA. As an Australian Government agency, Geoscience Australia does not wish to compete with commercial endeavours related to ALOS. This means that data will be offered under a non-commercial usage agreement which restricts its use to not-for-profit activities only.
