Why isn Common Worship: Daily Prayer in Visual Liturgy 4.0?
Common Worship: Daily Prayer was published in January 2002 but as yet it is not available for Visual Liturgy. There are two main reasons why Common Worship: Daily Prayer will not be available as a Visual Liturgy module in the near future. The material has been published as a preliminary edition to enable people to “road test” the liturgy. It will then come back for further revision before it is published again as “final”. The Liturgical Commission took the decision that they did not want to make something available for Visual Liturgy 4.0 which was not yet finished and final. As a result, it will be held back until the final version of Common Worship: Daily Prayer is published.
