Why isn CNN covering the missile launch in Iran?
I saw it on MSNBC during the President’s Press Secretary briefing. I don’t watch CNN. I tell you the one thing that jumped out at me. Iran’s missile system is capable of hitting southeast Europe and Israel. Certainly, this provocation will put even more heat in the kitchen between the U.S. and Russia regarding the missile defense system in the former Czech Republic. I am still not clear as to why Iran would want to launch a missile towards Europe. I don’t know what Iran’s interest would be to do something so fool hardy near an ally, like Russia, in Russia’s own backyard of which they have been somewhat overprotective to say the least. i.e. Georgia Can you imagine the Russian reaction with another country’s missile landing in their back yard? They had a fit, with recent NATO exercises in NATO countries. A vital piece of information is missing here.
