Why isnt an operations and maintenance increase proposal also on the ballot?
After close evaluation, the School Board believes that since the new facility will be significantly more efficient than our current High School, the District can maintain the operations and maintenance budget at its current level. The incorporation of energy saving components and geothermal heating and cooling will enable the District to maximize operations and maintenance funds, as well as district staff, without the need to request additional funds from taxpayers at this time.
