Why isn a good anti-spam filter good enough to block phishing messages?
A. Spam messages have very different characteristics than phishing messages. Most spam filters are designed to recognize the characteristics of spam messages. Phishing messages look legitimate; they appear to be legitimate messages from your bank, stock broker, or other source.
