They improve blood circulation, stimulate digestion, remove depression, and leave the body invigorated. Backbends keep the spine supple. Forward bends sooth and calm. Sun Salutations increase flexibility, grace, alertness, and coordination. Inversions improve concentration, invigorates the pineal and pituitary glands of the endocrine system. Twists strengthen and rotate the spine. Relaxation allows the body to rejuvenate, regulate blood pressure, and reduce fatigue.
