YMAT is a centralized admission process for all partnering institutions. YGen has a commitment with all the colleges for the number of students to be enrolled through YMAT across the nine states and 15 centers for the academic year 2009-11. The amount paid to YGen shall be considered a booking amount for the particular program and college. The amount is collected to ensure that no unscrupulous elements take advantage of the YMAT process and also to ensure that students can secure a seat in a top MBA college for a nominal fee.
