Why is yellow corn on the cob so hard to find?
They developed the bi coloured one to the point now that the yllow is not use mostly for processing not sold for sale retail, you may find a few small farmers markets that grow it, and the out of season corn we get here in Canada from Florida in the winter, (8 cobs for $3.99), is alway yellow not the bi-coloured or Peaches and Cream variety, and sometimes it depend on the part of the country you live in when it come to the colour, the mid west and west like the yellow and the east coast and south like the bi-coloured for some reason. There are actually 12 different types of sweet corn sold acrossed North America.
