Consideration of the survival of wildlife and bioversity drops to a low priority in the interest of survival. However, population growth is not slowed down, but rather increased by poverty, illiteracy, disease, or malnutrition, at least until long after the environment is destroyed and the infrastructure of the region is in shambles.
