Whether it be running around a zone, mining, so you can get more gold, running dungeons to better your gear, or playing pvp to get more honor, it is a never ending barrage of instant gratification. What’s more, Blizzard, the developer of the game, has made it so that gear drops in dungeons are random, which means that you may have to run a particular dungeon many many times before you actually get the gear you want. Also, they keep coming out with more expansions and patches, to keep the populace interested in the game, but also to keep them addicted. I have personally overcome this addiction, by realizing that end game content (dungeons at the end of leveling to 80) are a waste of time, due to the overwhelming amount of time that must be dedica
