Why is WordPerfect occasionally experiencing a refresh rate or delay when displaying text on the screen?
When typing several words rapidly, it sometimes takes WordPerfect’s proofreading tools a short amount of time to catch up. To bypass this problem in WordPerfect 11, you can go under the Tools menu, Proofread, and turn off Spell-as-you-go and deselect Prompt-as-you-go. You can turn them back on at the end of the document for it to rescan for errors.
