Why is wording on a resume so important?

0

A resume shows what you have done and a cover letter indicates what you are capable of. Very few interviewers can conduct a positive search and pick out the best applicant. Instead, they find something wrong with each candidate and eventually hire the applicant they dislike the least. All of this doesn’t mean a thing if your resume is not seriously considered and that is the reason for a cover letter in the first place. The sole purpose of these four to six sentences is to slow the scanning process and move your equally readable resume to the short stack. Structural, syntax and grammatical errors are the easiest to spot. Dress to impress isn’t only about clothes. Good Luck.
