So if i left wood and concrete out in the sun for … Wood is a poor conductor of heat, meaning that it warms very slowly, but also loses heat slowly. Whereas concrete (much like metal) heats up very quickly and is a great conductor of heat. The drawback is that it also radiates heat much quicker, thus will cool down quicker.
