Why is West Marine changing the name of the BoatUS stores to West Marine?
A. West Marine is changing the name of the stores to better serve Members and customers. By narrowing their focus to a single store chain “brand”, they will reduce costs of managing inventories and advertising boat equipment sales. We believe the streamlined focus will result in even better service and value to Members. West Marine will still give BoatUS Members the highest rewards of any shoppers, in any of their stores! Both West Marine and BoatUS- The Association are committed to this partnership well into the future. Q. What does this mean to me/my Membership? A. It means that service, inventory and selection will be more consistent in all stores.
