It seems that this issue keeps me from being a true Libertarian; as I do not think that marijuana should be legalized, with the exception of medical marijuana. From my personal experience, I have seen how the use of marijuana leads to the use of other illegal drugs like cocaine, methamphetamine, heroin and even L.S.D. Illegal drugs are dangerous because the purity and correct dosage are unregulated. These unknowns can lead to accidental overdose and in some cases poisoning from added chemicals. All drugs both legal and illegal can be dangerous when not used carefully.
