Why is Webgate Plus Necessary?
Today most networks are protected by firewalls, which are designed to block unauthorized network level access to servers and other internal systems. However the most damaging attacks are those that exploit weaknesses in the application server itself or which exploit vulnerabilities in the applications that run on the server. These types of attacks pass through the best of the stateful packet filters and the majority of application proxy firewalls.
