Why is VOICE 2008 in Los Angeles, and not in Las Vegas?
Our first VOICE conference was in Las Vegas because we wanted to put the event in an entertainment city, but needed to keep our production costs to a minimum. One of the things we learned about Las Vegas is that there is cigarette smoke everywhere! We moved VOICE 2008 to Los Angeles for several reasons: First, there’s no cigarette smoke in the hotel! L.A. is also one of the centers of the voiceover world and by holding our conference in L.A. we are able to attract even more of the top professionals in our business. The Hyatt Regency Century Plaza is an amazing venue for VOICE 2008.
