Why is Vitamin D present in the CalMag Spray?
A. CalMag is a supplement containing an herbal extract (the herbs are listed on the label) with the addition of calcium, magnesium, and vitamin D. It is designed as a dietary supplement to provide soluble and readily available calcium and magnesium in the correct proportions – thus maintaining a steady supply of these essential electrolytes. The product does not provide 100% of the EC RDA. This would be impossible in spray form. Vitamin D is present because it is a significant aid in the absorption of calcium from other sources and it is a highly recommended nutrient, especially for elderly people.
