Why is UVic implementing an emergency notification system?
UVic’s first priority is the safety and well-being of our students and employees. The goal of the system is to advise current students, staff and faculty of important information and instructions during emergencies. UVic Emergency Alerts is part of UVic’s overall approach to emergency management, and complements other methods of campus communication.
