Why is UV lighting required? Is it important?
UVA & UVB is used for promoting regular habits in reptiles such as eating, breeding etc. UVB also helps synthesis of vitamin D3 and calcium. It is crucial that your bearded dragon has an approved UV source otherwise disasters will unfold such as MBD (metabolic bone disorder) & many other things and possibly death.
