Why is UCSC Gmail not being deployed for staff and faculty?
UCSC Gmail service will be offered to students only. At this time, we are not offering UCSC Gmail to faculty, staff, and alumni. Potential eDiscovery issues and storage hosted outside of the United States prevents us from offering Gmail to faculty and staff. There is an ongoing review and analysis for an alternative email service that will be determined at a later date.
