We as a company go out of our way to put in the elemental amounts of our ingredients. What does this mean? As an example, we quote on our bottle that we have 809 mg of calcium, but we actually have 5310 mg. How can this be? Minerals such as calcium and magnesium are made up of a certain percentage of “active” ingredient and a certain percentage of “non active” ingredient. There is no regulation in the nutrition industry that requires the amount of minerals in your bottle to be only the active (elemental) amounts. A company could legally say that they have 809 mg of calcium which would be true, but the amount of the active ingredient would actually only be 123 mg. Tikva Plus also uses microencapsulated nutrients wherever this is the best choice for maximum absorption.
