Why is this mp4 player about twice as big as Ipod Video?
Ipod video uses 1.8″ hard disc whereas our mp4 player uses 2.5″ hard disk which is about 2x the size. Hence, it needs to be physically bigger to accommodate the larger hard disc. In addition, the power consumption of 2.5″ hard disc is higher, hence, a larger battery is also needed to allow reasonable battery life.
