Why is this double wall construction superior to X or Y extrusion posts?
Our “double wall insert” construction makes it impossible for our fence posts to break at the bottom screw hole (fulcrum point). It forces any stress on the post to travel 12″ up the post before it can break. This greatly increases strength. X or Y posts always crack off exactly at pool deck level where the bottom screw hole has weakened the post making them significantly weaker. Protect-A-Child double wall aluminum posts are as much as double the strength of many competitors posts.
