The $400 appliance may have all the frills, however the more bells and whistles, the greater chance something is going to break. Usually, importing goods from Japan means dealing in a system of built-in middlemen, which Korea does not have. The Regency Elite is imported directly from the manufacturer in Korea, which results in savings for the consumer.
