Why is there such a big range of costs for website developing and design?
It must be said that website designing and development is a relatively new industry and as such the industry has very few cost guidelines. One designer may charge $200 for a website and another designer will charge $2000. Why the big difference? It is important to understand that there are many different levels of complexity for website design and many different features available. A good way to understand this is to think of it like the car industry. You can get a second hand car with a stick shift and a radio for a decently cheap price. An absolute deal! But if you need a car with more features like a computer onboard, navigation, ipod connection, automatic sun roof etc. then you will need to pay more for such an feature filled car. So websites are like cars. They are all different. Each company will have different functional needs and these will generally determine the cost of the website.
