Why is there such a big difference between the commission percentage for the SoundScope service (10%) and the Beat XChange service (2%)?
When a user purchases a beat on our site, the producer gets 90% of the purchase price and we get 10%. When we pay you 2% of the purchase price, youre really getting 20% of what we keep. For instance, if a beat sales for $100, we keep $10 and the producer gets $90. After we get the $10, we give you $2, which is 20% of what we keep or 2% of the actual purchase price. Since the sky is the limit on how much a user can spend to purchase a beat, your potential commission for each Beat XChange sale is limitless.
