Why is there so much racism in European soccer?
Racism is abhorrent. Now after 300 years America has elected a non-white president. Good for you, I wish him well and that his presidency may be an beacon of enlightenment compared with so many that went before it. But before you take all of the moral high ground let me suggest that it not how “accepting” you are as a nation that most people take issue with. It is rather your insular-ism and your lack of understanding of the world outside your own boarders. This is evident in you discussing “Europe” as one homogeneous pot, instead of the 47 sovereign counties that make up the region. Is the USA the same as Chile, Bolivia, Mexico etc.? Further, you have a “feeling” that racism in Europe is part of everyday life. This perception is very far from the truth and you should try and substantiate your “feelings” with fact before voicing them otherwise your “feelings” are just hollow prejudices.
