Why is there so much ignorance to the hip hop culture/rap music?
I believe this is a good way to respond to your answer to me. If a Jeffery Dahmer had helped with the community, would that make what he did OK? Only because you have a handful of rappers or producers that does something to help children on the side doesn’t make rap music OK. Michael Jackson helped a lot of sick and non-sick children and gives to the United Negro College Fund every year but everyone tries nothing but to bring him down. Music is made to influence; just as you learn something in school or life, when you keep repeating or hearing the same thing over and again it sticks to you and you make it a part of your character. Listening to music with cursing, woman shake their butts and drugs etc., will influence most teenagers these days no matter if you are “keeping it real.” Everybody doesn’t need to hear it.
