Why is there so much bad press about MEChA?
Easy to answer there are forces in the US especially in the Southwest that do not like that fact that the Latino population is increasing. Even if there was no immigration the Latino population would increase at a fast rate. I think racism is the major factor driving these groups. They have dug out historical documents from the 60s to smear MEChA, Chicanos and Latinos.
