The US Women’s Open is the first week of August and the PBA World Series of Bowling begins August 14, 2009. There is a week between the conclusion of the U.S. Women’s Open finals and the start of the PBA Women’s Series for players to get to Detroit from Las Vegas. The heart and bulk of the PBA Women’s Series will take place at the PBA World Series of Bowling, which promises to be the greatest month of competitive bowling in history, featuring the greatest male, female and senior bowlers in the world competing for over $2 million in prize money.
