Why is there price differences in pups from the same litter?
The pups are priced based on quality, color and size. I don’t charge $2000 like some do for the so called “tea-cup” but my smaller pups are usually $100-$200 more then the rest of the litter. If a puppy is only going to be pet quality, we will lower the price on them, and make the buyer sign the spay/neuter contract, and we will hold the registration paper on this dog. We will also ask to get a copy of your drivers license in this situtation so that we have it on file. There are some colors that are recessive in the chihuahua, and they will typically cost more. They are: Chocolate, Brindle, Blue, Lilac and Merle, listed in order of the more rare last. The reason that these cost more is that the inital cost of my breeding sotck cost more, and also, you can not breed two recessive genes together because it can result in mutations and unhealthy pups, so one dog must be carrying the recessive gene while the other is showing it or also carrying it recessivly. This makes you study pedigrees
