Why is there not an MSHA label on Siemens Mining Duty breakers?

0

MSHA has developed standards for cable protection known as Trailing Cable settings, but has not published standards for circuit breakers. Circuit breaker manufacturers self-certify their equipment to meet these MSHA requirements for Trailing Cable Settings. Siemens meets MSHA requirements for mining circuit breakers, however, since there is not a written standard for mining duty circuit breakers, no labeling has been designed for this application.
