Why is there no training in first-aid or Child Protection?
The SIA is currently looking at the training provided and are going to include first-aid in the future. Child protection training should be provided by the employer, as should pre-employment screening or background checks in conjunction with job applicants who might be seeking to work with children and other vulnerable people. 11) What qualifications are accepted?
