Why is there no SEARCH function on ArkivMusic?
The most accurate and comprehensive results for finding a classical recording are delivered through our “drilldown” navigation by Composer, Conductor, Performers, Ensemble, Record Label and Opera Title. Be sure to use the Alpha bar at the top of each page if you don’t see what you are looking for. Please note – you can search by Catalog Number on ArkivMusic. Also, the Record Label browse includes a Catalog Number search. If you only have keywords from an Album title eg, Spirit of the Renaissance or Appalachia Waltz, you might try using our Album Title Search. Please note: this is a specific search on Album title it will not help you find a piece of music, although it could help you find one of the criteria for the categories listed above.
