Why is there no recycling outside of the City of Lafayette or for residents who reside in apartments?

0

There is a system of recycling for residents in unincorporated Lafayette Parish and apartment dwellers – it’s a recycling drop-off system. The eight fire stations do not accept glass. Several 96-gallon containers are on site to accept newspaper, magazines, plastic bottles, aluminum cans and tin (metal) cans. All recyclables can be co-mingled. They do not need to be separated in the containers.
