Why is there an HISD internal application window?
Last year, we found that some of our strongest candidates in the process were HISD internal employees working in the district as student teachers, teaching assistants, hourly lectures, and long-term substitutes. Internal employees are held to the same standard as external candidates and expected to meet the same selection competencies to enter the recruitment pool.
