Why is there an early August order deadline?
To obtain the BTS promotional pricing from our vendors, we need to place bulk orders. To insure that we receive these computers with time to prepare them for pickup on Opening Weekend, we need to place the bulk orders by early August. If you order a computer through our BTS promo after the August deadline, we will fill the order from our bulk supply as best we can. However, as August progresses, it becomes increasingly less likely that you will be able to pick up your order on Opening Weekend. Bundles will be marked accordingly to availability, and as we “run out” of bundles for Opening Weekend pickup, they will marked for pickup at the Depot (112 Davis Center) sometime after classes start — we will notify you when you’ll be able to pick it up. We recommend therefore that you order before mid-August.
