Why is there an application process for TEDMED 2011?
TEDMED is an exceptional event because it gathers the top minds from the many specialized components of the medical field. The goal is to engage this group in intense discussion, share new, radical ideas, and to ultimately shape the future of health and medicine. We realize that this is an ambitious goal, and one that requires a special group of attendees. Therefore, we must be selective when choosing our attendees to ensure that we have a balanced, intimate and diverse group.
