Furthermore, the training that certain military occupational specialties provide is directly applicable to the CleanTech space – specifically those servicemen and women that have worked as electricians, engineers, machinists, welders, heavy equipment operators, and in bulk water and fuel specialties. Officers and non-commissioned officers in these specialties have the leadership exposure needed for serving as field engineers and foremen. Lastly, this company has made a pledge to assist veterans in their transition – both through services and by financially supporting nonprofit institutions that do the same.
