Why is there a “Special” (SP) engine class?
Although all cars in GT3 fall into a specific engine category, there a few vehicles that are still simply too powerful to be ranked among cars with similar engine types. For example, the F094/S (F1 car) is built with a Mid Engine/Rear Wheel Drive (MR), but due to its incredible power, it now belongs to the Special (SP) engine class. This allows for better competition for both F1 and MR drivers.
