Why is there a Service Learning Requirement at Grand Canyon Preparatory Academy?
The staff at Grand Canyon feels that it is important that all students develop an awareness of the community around them and are trained to help when situations arise. This is a curriculum innovation that has been embraced by all political and scholastic spectrums. Furthermore, students who perform well at Service Learning may qualify for a National Service Scholarship to College.
