Why is there a Service Charge for my TRAAKiT Service?
A – The Service Charge covers the cost of running our central computers that store the location data, determine when to send you SMS and email alerts, manage your TRAAKiT settings, the licence fees that we have to pay for the software that you need to run your TRAAKiT Service and the communication costs between your TRAAKiT and our computers and the costs of the SMS messages that we send to you. There are no other charges from us whatsoever whilst your TRAAKiT is being operated within the UK subject to our fair use policy as outlined in our terms and conditions. You can pay the Service Charge either monthly or annually in advance. There is a discount for paying annually. Additional charges will apply if you take your TRAAKiT outside the UK.
