Why is there a requirement to conduct Pre- and Post- TABE testing?
As outlined on page 7, pre- and post- TABE (Test of Adult Basic Education) testing is required. Participants who score at or above a 7th grade level are eligible for participation in the Weatherization Training Program. Most contractors and apprenticeship programs require at least a 7th grade TABE level to be accepted or hired.
