Why is there a New Wineskins Presbytery inside of the EPC?

The EPC began to ask the same questions and desire the same type of future the New Wineskins were seeking. After several meetings and a vote by the 2007 EPC General Assembly, the non-geographic New Wineskins Presbytery was formed. It receives PCUSA churches and functions with a missional structure. It is the hope of all involved that by June of 2012 the New Wineskins and the EPC will come to full agreement about the shared future the Lord is calling us to.
