Why is there a limit on the number of email lists an account is permitted to have?
While we understand the usage of an email list as a community and/or marketing tool, we are all aware of the unwanted and often damaging effects of SPAM. We have a zero tolerance stance on unsolicited email, both coming to and going out from our servers. Hence we require that all email lists are approved for use on our servers. Furthermore, only low traffic lists with no more then 500 users are permitted. Lastly, your list must be double opt-in with a link to unsubscribe in every mailing.
