Why is there a growing demand for containerised goods?
Demand for consumer goods and trade with other EU countries is already showing an increased rate of growth following Poland’s accession to the EU in 2004. Furthermore, industry is increasingly out-sourcing components in the global market-place leading to structural changes in manufacturing processes. Overall annual growth as high as 20% per year over the next 5 years has been forecast for Poland by some economists.
