Why is there a difference in the standard of testing between CASA and DAMPs? Why doesn CASA standardise this so there is no longer a need for CASA to test a DAMP employee?
CASA, through the regulations, has set a minimum standard that DAMP organisations have to meet. Due to the diverse nature of the aviation industry it is not reasonable practice to have a ‘one size fits all’ approach. The CASA testing program is essentially an audit tool to measure the implementation of DAMPs under the regulations.
