Why is there a difference in the number of restaurants in the Royalty Pool and the total number of restaurants reported by PPL?

0

The number of restaurants in the Royalty Pool is adjusted each January 1 to include the revenue stream from restaurants which opened in the prior year less closed restaurants. Therefore at any given time there are PPL restaurants which are not in the Royalty Pool.
