Why is there a delay before the video starts to play?
There will always be a delay of some length. This is occasioned by the necessity of the visitor’s computer to load the information for the video. The video is “streamed” from your server. This process is known as “streaming video” and only the most advanced and costly websites have videos streamed onto their webpages. The length of time to load the video into a visitor’s computer depends on the length of the video. Generally, short videos, 1 minute or less are preferable because they take less time to load.
